Ahmed Bastawy
Ahmed Bastawy currently runs icealex Innovation Hub, which supports startups and the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Alexandria. He has also founded a series of sector-specific incubators in the city. Ahmed is also co-founder and international business development manager at iceHubs Global CIC, a UK-based social enterprise that focuses on transforming sustainability challenges into green businesses. Ahmed has been a lead trainer, facilitator, and programs architect on different topics in Africa and Europe. In addition to mentoring and coaching different startups and enterprises, Ahmed also consults government organizations in Africa and Europe on designing and implementing programs focusing on youth empowerment, social innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.
